Training and Socialisation Groups

We offer dog owners the chance to learn new skills at handling their dogs and teaching them to teach in a way that the dog understands. We have a range of meetings throughout the week and at the weekend to help and these include:

• Dog Communication Classes - We are proud to be one of the leading companies looking at canine communication. Many dogs through no fault of their own, lose this ability and with the help of the canine pack at Walkabout we can help them relearn it.  Join our groups on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturdays mornings.

•  Basic control needed?  - then all our sessions can help - simply chose that one suits your schedule.

•  121 lessons or home visits with one of our professionals. You will find them very friendly and helpful and no problem is too big or small for us to help.

There is now a chance for you to book a session on a Saturday afternoon - perfect for those who have busy weekday lives.

• Working dogs group on a Tuesday evening - a chance to teach our dogs something new like tracking or search. All breeds welcome

• Evening classes - A basic social skills and obedience class on a Wednesday  - this class works indoors but can still offer you the chance to help your dog.

Fed up with walking on your own or want to join our fitness group?

Our Dog walking club has been set up to encourage all our clients and their families and friends to join us enjoy walking with their dogs. The fully supervised walks are accompanied by our balanced pack who set an example to your dog. Walking within a group, your dog will soon settle and you can enjoy the company of other like minded owners who care about their dogs. Individual training walks are also available
